International Contemporary Art Fair in Montjuic, Barcelona

On April 5th, the International Contemporary Art Fair opened its doors in the Montjuic district to present the first edition in the heart of the city of Barcelona, just a few meters from Plaza de España.

Galleries, artists, collectors, and the public gathered to admire established and talented artists, including those represented by Excellence Art Gallery from Marbella, participating for the first time in Barcelona. The gallery showcases its international artists in an environment spanning over 5,000 m2 with more than 3,000 works distributed among 50 art galleries from around the world. This exhibition will be visible until April 7th in Pavilion No. 7 of the Barcelona Trade Fair venue at Excellence Art Gallery’s stand, C11.

Recently appointed gallery manager Giuseppe Carnevale, succeeding founder Massimo Cedrini, brings an unprecedented art collection from Marbella to Barcelona. Some of the artists participating in this edition were also featured in the last International Art Fair in Brussels in November 2023. Alongside them are new artists with new collections aimed at once again fusing different styles and techniques while maintaining impeccable harmony among all their pieces.

Excellence Art Gallery celebrates its 20th participation in international fairs in 9 years of uninterrupted activity, positioning itself among the leading Spanish galleries. It offers a platform dedicated to promoting artists in Europe and worldwide, hosting exhibitions in various venues such as historical buildings, medieval castles, hotels, and private luxury events.

Among the artists showcased:

-Ann Massa from Belgium presents her abstract collection “Happy Vintage,” reminiscent of 70s and 80s decorations.

-Massimo Cedrini from Italy exhibits his abstract works titled “Hope,” along with marine-themed paintings titled “Sails,” showcasing his impressionist style.
